We’re all been affected by COVID and recognise too the major impact on employment across Scotland.
Perhaps you used to work in a shop, in a bar or restaurant or a call centre but due to COVID you’re not working or have been furloughed. You don’t need to do what you’ve always done. Now is your chance to dip your toe in the water and be a support worker with Quarriers.
Our staff team comes from all walks of life and what we value most, is that your values match our own.
Work experience gained outside care can make a great difference to our services and the people we support. A career in care can be challenging, but also hugely rewarding, and you’ll be working with the people we support to get the most out of life. Part of the role will involve providing personal care, administering medication and help with everyday tasks. It’s important for us to highlight this, as if this is not for you, perhaps your skills are better suited to other areas.
Don’t worry if you don’t have experience as we’ll give you all the training you need.
So if you’ve ever wondered could this be for me? Now is your chance.
