Maternal Mental Wellbeing
Quarriers Maternal Mental Wellbeing Service was established in March 2017 and provides support for women and their families who are experiencing poor mental health during pregnancy and up to two years postnatally in North East Glasgow.
How we can help
Services we provide include:
Two postnatal groups with an onsite crèche and transport.
An antenatal group with crèche and transport facilities.
One to one support.
Counselling from Bluebell
Other activities at the Quarriers Family Centre include: baby massage, relaxation, book bug, a buggy walking group and Growing Together.
It’s important to have support around you whether it’s your partner, family, friends, or groups in the community. Complete a wellbeing plan, just in case you need to reflect on it in the future.
Find out about groups in your local area before your baby is born. Apps such as HOOP and netmums are useful. Baby groups, baby massage, breast feeding support, bounce and rhyme and book bug might be in your community.
