A carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, relative or friend who could not manage without their help. Many people do not recognise themselves as carers.

The aim of the Carers Centre is to provide unpaid carers in North West areas of Glasgow with practical help and emotional support. We offer the following services to carers:
Accessing our service
The Carers Centre is based at 252 Keppochhill Road and supports carers living in the following postcode areas: G1,G2, G3,G4,G11,G12, G21 (part – check with centre), G22 and G23.
If you do not live in any of the above areas, there are Carers Centres across Glasgow: please phone the Carers Information Line on 0141 353 6504. You will be directed to your local centre.
Carers are welcome to contact us directly by phone or e mail, or you can pop in to the centre. Alternatively, you can ask your GP, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or any health or social care professional to pass on your details to us and a member of the Team will contact you directly. You will be allocated a Carer Support Worker who will arrange to meet with you to discuss your caring role and what support we can offer.
