Quarriers launches the WAR on Hate Crime: We’re All Responsible campaign.
Last week, Quarriers launched the WAR on Hate Crime campaign. 90% of people who have learning disabilities report being targets of harassment and bullying.
Quarriers believes that everyone has a responsibility to ensure that disability-related hate crime is not acceptable.
Hate crime can be extremely distressing. It goes against human rights and can prevent people from fully participating in society.
Hate crime can cause:
- lack of confidence
- post-traumatic stress
