Rooms to suit every event

  • All rooms can be set up with our Video Conferencing Tandberg 95 Edge system, compatible with NHS
  • Portable induction loop system can be made available in any room.

All meeting rooms come with AV equipment as standard (with the exception of the Alba Room).  This includes laptop; screen, large TV or Smartboard for presentations and teleconference handset. The Lecture Theatre has in addition to this: ceiling mounted overhead projector, full projection screen, up to 2 additional 42″ TVs for full viewing of presentation or small group work use, lectern, two handheld mics/four tie mics with iPad mini remote audio controller.

The gateway - Quarriers Village

The available rooms at the Gateway are:

  • The James Arthur Room
  • The Stewart Room
  • Seminar Room
  • The Byron Room (IT suite)
  • The Coats Room

Available in all rooms are a projector for computer presentations, laptop, overhead projector, TV and video.

The Gateway has wheelchair access and all training rooms are on the ground floor. In addition, there is an accessible toilet. Tea and coffee is provided throughout the day. Catering for full day courses is also available – please ask for details.

The James Arthur Room

This room can accommodate 24 people seated, with an assortment of table configurations. The room is equipped with a flip chart, whiteboard and projection screen.

The Stewart and Seminar Rooms

These rooms can accommodate 16 and 10 people respectively, and have an assortment of tables for easy configuration. Both rooms are equipped with whiteboard, screen and flipchart.

The Byron Room (IT suite)

Our Byron Room provides 10 desktop computers all with flat screens and read/write CD ROM drives. All computers have speakers with the option of headphones. Microsoft Office 2013 software is installed with Windows 7. The layout and acoustics of this room lends itself to all types of training and learning. There are a number of specialised pieces of equipment for users who have manual dexterity difficulties, including large type keyboard, forearm support, height adjustable desk and adapted mouse.

This suite is available for day and evening bookings.

The Coats Room

The Coats Room consists of a seated area for approximately 15 people. The room has been customised for moving and handling training and has a large floor space with a variety of equipment including two beds and two hoists. The room is also equipped with TV, video, DVD and OHP.
